One national organization says the pickings are slim in the Peach State when it comes to offerings for children’s healthcare.
“Georgia could use improvement in a couple of areas. One is just the sheer percentage of children without health insurance coverage. Right now, that’s about eight percent, that’s in the bottom ten as far as high rates of children who are still not covered.”
Nevada was at the bottom at number 51. Vermont topped the list at number one.Georgia ranked highest, at number 14 on the list, when it came to children’s dental health.
