The Tifton City Council has approved a plan for Paulk Vineyards and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) to open a wine lounge in downtown Tifton. The unanimous vote on Sept. 16 grants a permit for the project, which is expected to boost property values, increase foot traffic, and create jobs and new business opportunities. The lounge will also offer non-alcoholic options to accommodate minors and those who prefer not to drink alcohol.
