New bulldog statue unveiled at Friendly City Pharmacy in Tifton, Georgia. The statue, named “ReX,” is the 18th bulldog statue in the area and can be seen facing U.S. Highway 41. Simmons Family Chiropractic has relocated to 215 E. 4th St. in Tifton. South Georgia Banking Company’s administration offices have also moved to the corner of 10th Street and Central Avenue. Construction is underway for a new Dollar General store on Ferry Lake Road and a new convenience store at 1602 N. Tift Ave., although opening dates and the name of the convenience store have not been announced.
